Financial Accountant

Then you might be the right candidate to join our Treasury Accounting team as a Financial Accountant!
What you will be doing
You will join Ultrabulk’s global Treasury Accounting team as a Financial Accountant from our office in Singapore. You will have the responsibility for the finance operations across our offices in the Asia-Pacific region, of which the Singapore office is our largest. You should therefore possess a sense of responsibility, together with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, as you will also work closely with our team of dedicated finance professionals in Copenhagen and Santiago covering accounting, treasury, controlling, and reporting.
Along with other interesting tasks, your responsibilities will include:
- Handling the digital processing of invoices and expense reports, using our expense management system, including payment creation and processing
- Reconciliation of various financial accounts, accruals and VAT postings
- Monthly closing
- Leading the preparation of MSI/AIS filings
- Acting as a company secretary, for our Singaporean entity, including preparation and filing of various corporate documents
- Handling vessel registration related documents with relevant authorities
Our extensive onboarding programme includes a 3-month outplacement in Copenhagen where you will be introduced to the finance team there and prepare for your new adventure in Ultrabulk.

- A relevant educational background
- Experience within finance and accounting
- Confident working with Excel and general experience with Office 365
- Confident in both spoken and written English as English is our corporate language
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Structured and detail oriented
- Excellent team player
- A residence and work permit allowing you to work in Singapore
