Assistant Controller

As an Assistant Controller, you will be part of an expanding team executing different tasks related to accounting, analysis, reconciliation, controlling and reporting.

This position reports to our Head of Accounting & ShipPayroll.


  • Booking of invoices
  • Posting incoming payments and processing urgent pre-payments
  • Handling fund requests 
  • Delivering input for the monthly reporting
  • Reconciliations
  • Preparing audit material
  • Preparing budget files and planning budget process


  • Relevant education within finance
  • Proven practical experience from accounting/controlling
  • Experienced user of ERP systems where knowledge of SUN will be considered an advantage
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (Pivots, VLOOKUP’s, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured detail-oriented individual
  • Proactive and have a strong sense of urgency
  • Stakeholder oriented and excellent team player
