What you will be doing
As an Operations Trainee in dry bulk operations, you will be trained alongside your colleagues to come to play an essential role in ensuring a high quality and flawless operation of our vessels and in meeting the demands of our customers.

You will be in daily contact with several stakeholders such as captains, port agents, owners, charterers, and last but not least, your colleagues in our offices all around the world.

During your traineeship with us, you will have the chance of a stay abroad in one of our other 8 locations. 

The work tasks you will be introduced to and taught include:

  • Executing daily operations with due consideration to customer focus, voyage optimisation and stakeholder management
  • Close follow-up on voyage-related expenses 
  • Visits to vessels, ports and customers 
  • Providing operational insight to the chartering department to enhance and optimise voyage efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Resolving operational challenges together with our in-house legal team and P&I club

  • A valid US residence and work permit
