Joining the Fleet Efficiency & Decarbonisation team as Student Assistant, you will be part of a smaller team within the Business Intelligence department where ideas are highly encouraged. Among other exciting tasks, you will be: 

• Developing an understanding of ships' technical performance and its monitoring to reduce fuel consumption and the consequent emissions 
• Monitoring the performance of the owned and long-term charter fleet in our performance system
• Coordinating with the Operations department for underwater inspections, hull cleaning, propeller polishing and ship crew to implement best practices
• Driving the performance improvement of assigned vessels in relation to auxiliary engine consumption
• Developing tools and ideas to automate workflows and decision making in relation to vessel performance

• Is proactive, creative, and full of initiative 
• Is driven by a passion for gaining insights and solving business problems through data-driven decision-making
• Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment and has an outstanding work ethic and integrity

We furthermore expect that you:

• Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme at DTU or ITU studying either Data Science, Business Analytics, Maritim teknik/Naval Architecture & Offshore Engineering, or BEng Maritim teknik/Naval Architecture
• Have knowledge of automation/data analysis/programming in Excel and Python
• Are fluent in both oral and written English 
• Hold a residence and work permit allowing you to work in Denmark
